Soaps based calcium and sodium are used for preventing corrosion of rolling mill. Soap based calcium is usually used for low carbon steels. Soap based sodium is used for high carbon steels. Reason of these results from slipperiness being different. Soap based calcium is more slippery than soap based sodium.
