What is Tensile Strenght?

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Tensile strenght is a resistance against pulling force of wire, unit is a Mega Pascal (Mpa).

Annealing: Process of the wire is heated until specific temperature and rigidity of wire is reduced. This process is used for getting granule old size by applying heat treatment because the process causes becoming narrow size of granule during wire drawing.

Certain criterions are applied array of rolling mill during process of wire drawing.

First starting to rolling mill namely during wire drawing, we need to make thin until 30-40 cm piece from head.

Certain criterions are applied array of rolling mill during process of wire drawing.  Reduction must be done appropriate to these criterions.

Reduction of section and rigidity are direct proportion in the process of wire drawing. The more reduction increases, the more tensile strenght increases.
